Cars

I'll take the Ferrari612 as well

Something environmentally friendly for the week, and i guess a porsche 911 carrera on the weekend.

"How much do Bentley Continentals cost?"

About $160-170K USD.

Hybrids help the environment. They do not save you money; do the math. A hybrid car versus a comparable car (civic hybrid compared to civic ex or lx). Gas is cheaper but the car is more expensive (even with the tax credit). Also the battery warranty doesn't last very long, and replacing a hybrid battery is VERY expensive. At best, if you buy a hybrid car you will break even.

camry, nuff said

Gulfstream V......
oh you said CARS! db9, f430 and good ole range rover

hook me up with a hyundai sonata. chyeaaaaaaaah!

"Something environmentally friendly for the week, and i guess a porsche 911 carrera on the weekend."

Dyip10 - Did I say anything in there about saving money? No I didn't not unless you can't read. I just want an environmentally friendly car.

farbdogg, I wasn't talking about you.

some kind of hybird car. I really don't want to pay $5 per gallon no matter how flashy my car is.

well..

hydrogen cars are more environmental friendly than hybrid cars....

and H cars will start coming out soon.....

so future successful business tree huggers (me!) should consider H cars, not hybrid (since they will probably disappear in near future)

they wont disappear anywhere near into the future nor will fuel cell run cars be here anytime in the future. The idea of hyrdogen run cars has been around since the 30's and have you seen anything come from it yet?

You guys probably the Bugatti Veyron... here is what Howstuffworks has to say:

At the moment, the Bugatti Veyron appears to have it all:

* A W-16 engine that can produce 1,001 horsepower
* A top speed of 250+ mph (400+ kph)
* A zero-to-60 time of three seconds
* A zero-to-180 time of 14 seconds
* A price tag somewhere in the $1.2 million range.

<a href="http://auto.howstuffworks.com/bugatti.htm%5B/url%5D">http://auto.howstuffworks.com/bugatti.htm</a></p>

Maybachs, McLarens, bmw m4, enzos, list goes on.. but there is an espn article on the top 10 cars you probably cant afford.. <a href="http://autobytel.espn.go.com/content/shared/articles/templates/index.cfm/article_id_int/1250%5B/url%5D">http://autobytel.espn.go.com/content/shared/articles/templates/index.cfm/article_id_int/1250</a></p>

If speed is all you want, you can supermod/upgrade/turbocharge a Toyota Supra to have 1,200 + horsepower.

For me, if I make a lot of money i'd probably get an BMW M3/M6 or an infiniti G35 coupe.

Then i'd get a modded Mitsubishi Evo MR or a Nissan Skyline for weekends :)

the bentley continentals aren't bad b/c of the price, but the fact that you have to be on a waiting list to get them

A car is an expense, that's all it is. Let's hope people become a bit smarter than flushing good money down a hole. Business majors will hope to run a tight ship for a company, yet blow $$$$ for an expense that won't endow them or make them better looking to the opposite sex that matters. Sorry guys, I hope some of you realize when you are in a pavlovian situation. Don't drool at the bell. be smarter.

Whats the point in becoming rich and successful if you don't enjoy what you have? Nobody actually needs a $10 million dollar home or a ferrari or Lambourghini but they're things you wanted since you were really young.

Yep, its part of materializing your visions and dreams.

"At the moment, the Bugatti Veyron appears to have it all:"

Except it's butt-ugly.

"Business majors will hope to run a tight ship for a company, yet blow $$$$ for an expense that won't endow them or make them better looking to the opposite sex that matters. Sorry guys, I hope some of you realize when you are in a pavlovian situation. Don't drool at the bell. be smarter."

If you have the money, what's the problem?

"Whats the point in becoming rich and successful if you don't enjoy what you have? Nobody actually needs a $10 million dollar home or a ferrari or Lambourghini but they're things you wanted since you were really young"

I'd enjoy a Lamborghini more than I would a Honda Civic...so what's your point? Rich and happy is not a paradox...and rich and happy beats being poor and happy. Rich and unhappy also beats poor and unhappy, because at least you can buy yourself nice things and a good therapist.

The most highly owned cars by millionares in the US is a Toyota because as said before a car is an expense.
