<p>which dorm is better? for a guy?
i heard dorms in Cary are bigger than rooms in other dorms
how are the bathrooms? do i have to share one bathroom with 49 other guys?</p>
<p>more info on the current freshmen thread. pretty much described every dorm. at purdue except for windsor, wiley, and first street. </p>
<p>harrison is better for freshmen. cary is small than every other dorm. until you become an upperclassmen. the beds for lofts are quite crappy too. every dorm. has a community shower except for cary suites(upperclassmen only), hillenbrand, and first street. the bathrooms are quite big so no worries about sharing it with 50+ guys. i havent been inside harrisons bathroom but im sure it will be the same as mccutcheon. at mccutch there are 4 shower stalls, 6 toilets, 4 urinals and 10 sinks. theres two rooms that are connected together so one side of the hall “has” one of the rooms. it doesnt matter which side you use but everyone uses the side that their room is at. community showers arent bad at all, its actually nice since someone cleans it everyday except for weekends where it can get pretty ugly at times.</p>
