Where does the college of arts and sciences at penn stand compared to other ivy league schools?

unless u want to be a homeless man wit a degree dont go to cas or seas
wharton 4 life

damn, learn how to spell/punctuate or just shut up.

I'll hope for the latter.

Anyway, Penn's CAS is excellent like any other Ivy. It's not like defective or anything. The departments are all excellent. Some (like econ and anthro) are truly in the league of 'best of the best,' but even the less famous ones are on the level of, say, a Brown department.

Penn's size also gives it a greater breadth of courses. I was looking through my little brother's course register (for Princeton) and he has no Korean studies opportunities there. Just one example and probably not relevant to you, but I'm sure there are others.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but what about the history department? I've heard good things.

seas kids make about as much as wharton kids do... and arguably have better job security

I would disagree on that point... job security is tricky, though.

penn history is good

legend, what would you know of job security

Also, Penn's obscure, irrelevant studies program is par excellence

Guys, Guys, Guys, If Penn's SAS wasn't world class, how could it have attracted a great of a mind as mine.

meng has a point guysss
