CAS Chances - Low SATs

I'm extremely worried. NYU has been a dream school of mine since sophomore year, but it seems like my SAT scores might prevent me from becoming accepted. I've been searching and calculating my chances using the online college chances calculators, and it seems like I have a pretty good chance. I don't know though... My SATs are definitely below the average SATs for NYU. Chance me please!

Thanks for the quick reply, SleepingGrunt! I’m a domestic student.

No problem. Well, obviously besides the low SATs…looks good. Especially that you’re diploma with that kind of GPA.

Except for your SAT, everything looks pretty well. Your IB curriculum helps a lot. Community service looks great too. I wouldn’t be surprised if you got accepted.

Best of Luck!

Thank you for your opinions! I really appreciate it!

More opinons would be nice… :)

Bump. I would like some more opinions for reassurance or to know that I don’t even qualify.

After seeing some of the ED decisions, it seems like one weakness in your application can make/break you. I’d say you’re a low reach because of the SAT scores.

you’ll probably get accepted. full IB can give a big boost and you were able to handle it (i had to drop it). plus, you have a ton of extracurriculars
