CAS Chances?

<p>I'm just feeling a little bit nervous, I told myself I wouldn't do this, but...</p>

Course Load: AP Stats, AP Comp Sci, AP Lit, AP Lang, AP World, AP US, AP Calc BC, AP Physics, AP Chem, AP Bio
AP scores not reported (I got all 4s and one three)
Essay: Supplement was well written, common app essay was excellent, I worked very hard on it, and I wrote about how my dad who is sick from 9/11 impacted my life and such. Also related to why I want to be a computer programmer.
Recs: Excellent. Both teachers know me very well, one is a math teacher the other a history teacher.
ECs: I play in orchestras outside of school, have performed at Carnegie hall twice, and have recieved music awards, I'm the captain/president of my school's quiz bowl team, treasurer of tri-m music honor society, in national honor society, math honor society, pit orchestra, chamber orchestra, participated in a math program outside of school for 2 years that was well known.
Race: White
Gender: Female
Extra: since I play the double bass (a bit rarer of an instrument to find) and I wish to join one of the orchestras at NYU, I'm hoping that will help me...</p>

Don’t listen to @DJFlash. He’s either ignorant or a troll. You have a good chance at getting in but no one is a sure thing for any school, especially a school like NYU. I think you should feel optimistic but don’t put all your eggs into the NYU basket until you get the big letter!

I would be surprised if you didn’t get in to CAS. Great stats and great ECs
