I plan to have strong essays and letters of reccomendation.

I know I am not a genius or have OUTSTANDING qualifications, but its the college that I really see myself at and I don't think it is a choice that is ompletely unobtainable.
if you need any more info let me know!

I would definitely say yes. But, keep in mind that NYU is strange in its admissions. Many people who weren't ranked in the top 10% in my school beat out a girl with great ECs who was ranked #10 in a class of at least 400. Basically, anything can happen, but right now you look like you're in great shape.

oh my god, I think you're my soulmate. Hahahah. No joke, I have basically the same gpa, almost the same exact SAT scores, and VERY similar ec's, not to mention, that I am also APPLYING TO NYU EARLY DECISION AT CAS! WHAT ARE THE ODDS?! I love NYU and I can't believe there's someone around the world basically just like me. Obviously, I'm probably just as anxiously clueless are you are about whether we could get in, but you basically fit every category neccesary for that typical NYU acceptee, it's all really up to those letters of rec and essays. Hope to see you in NY soon!!

seems pretty good, especially since you're applying early. But I agree with calhounbassoon, my friend last year was accepted by Harvard but rejected by NYU, sooo it's quite strange.

thanks for the opinions :) and yes i have heard about their strange admissions too! nyujosh- woww thats so weird lol, and hope to see you in ny too
