<p>What are they expecting? something like "i hope to gain __ skill from my degree"??</p>

<p>I don't think they are exactly looking for what "skills" you might attain from your degree. i think they are looking for how your academic interests have evolved and what areas you might pursue at Cornell to enhance or further those interests--that could potentially be through academics or even outside activities. It's a pretty open ended question so there really isn't a prescription for what they are looking for. Obviously that's what makes it hard. Sorry that probably doesn't help much.</p>

<p>u should google stuff about cornell. Like i wrote about nanotech, and it turns out that it fits 100% with cornell. Google like.........Cornell economics lol i duno</p>
