What classes and GPA do I need to make this move?

bump..

any response is appreciated

its much more than a stones throw, your going from the second lowest school of NYU (Tisch gsp being the lowest) to THE best. I dont even know how that works. if you were in CAS i could help you. I internally xfered.

damn.. why was i put in gsp?

1330 sat + 9X average +strong ecs

well, i'm ready for the challenge.. i just don't want to be limited

Well, for what it's worth, one of my friends is a girl who did GSP -> Stern, but I don't know if she was originally placed in a Stern GSP (or even if there is one). In any case, I have no idea what CAS GSP being 'the second lowest school of NYU' is all about - the kids in GSP that I've known have all been as intelligent as the students that started out in CAS/Stern/etc freshman year.

I think you have to re-apply to NYU online in order to transfer to a school. You must apply as a new transfer student because Stern will not favor your application just because you're from NYU CAS than someone who's from, let's say, SUNY.

In order to apply as a junior transfer applicant, you must send in your high school grades, SAT's, current grades, resume, and letters of recommendation. If you have more than 32 credits or so, Stern will look less at your high school record and focus more on your current academic achievements at NYU.

Transfering to Stern is tough.

Why don't you read over credits requirements for both Stern and CAS? Try to take classes that may overlap. I mean, every student's got to follow a Morse Plan of academic courses anyways.
