<p>I'm still waiting to hear from NYU, but I had this question on my mind. I applied to CAS for journalism. However, what if I knew that right now I wanted to change my major? I'm looking at changing to communications, and sadly, that's in Steinhardt. Is it possible to change schools right off the bat, or would I have to spend a year in CAS? Is it going to be difficult to transfer to another school within NYU?</p>
<p>And also, why is communications in Steinhardt? It seems like it should be in CAS.</p>

<p>I applied to Steinhardt for communication, but I somehow mentioned BUSINESS in my application so they sorted me to Sterns lol... I didn't find out until the Steinhadrt lady told me my application wasn't in the department....</p>
<p>Just call them and have your application transfered ASAP to Steinhardt if u so wish!</p>
<p>I really don't know why it's not in CAS..... maybe it's a newly edition to NYU?</p>
