CAS vs Eng for comp sci

What are the major differences between a computer science degree from the CAS department and one from the engineering department? What are the differences in courses? Would CAS put me at a disadvantage for work/grad school? Thanks in advance for replies.

Bump; I am interested in knowing the answer to this question as well.

[CS Major](The CS Major | Department of Computer Science)

Does a BS look more appealing than a BA to employers? And does it matter after you get your Masters?

The Cornell page claims that the degree doesn’t seem to matter in employment and grad school admissions. I’m sure there are some employers or grad schools who prefer one over the other, but really, the question should be about what you want to study beyond your CS core. Do you want to take Physics and Chemistry, or do you want to take a foreign language and have a more flexible science requirement? You can compare the grids in more detail, but that’s the gist of it. Do you have a major in mind? It might be easier to complete in one school or the other.
