Do u think it’ll increase my chances of getting into BU if i choose CAS instead of engineering or does it not matter, and btw i have majors i like in both the colleges?

It will probably increase your chances but what are your stats anyways?

stickmanftw- these r my stats:
SAT I (m + cr)= 1440 and Writing is = 700 ( i got one multiple choice wrong and a really bad essay grade...will they know i got one mc wrong and take that into account?)
SatII bio : 680
SAT II math : 780
GPA: Weighted: 3.824 out of 5
unweighted: 3.76 out of 4
and a couple of EC's w/a great essay imo

Apply where you want to go. You have good stats. You can get a dual degree if you really want. It's called BUCOP. You can look it up.

Thanks everyone. Lergnom- ya BUCOP looks really cool and i'll definitely take advantage of that once i get in.
from ur experiences do u think i have a decent chance in either CAS or engineering?

You definitely have a good chance for engineering, your stats are pretty much the same as mine. Like Lergnom said, just apply to whichever you want more.

@ stickmanftw and lergnom(or anyone else for that matter): if u want can u tell me what college in BU u applied to and with what stats?ty in advance

wiggin2, your stats look great. Honestly, you need to stop worrying, you'll probably get into whichever college you end up applying too.

But if it helps, I'm in SMG and my stats were:
SAT: 1420 (M+CR, 710 each), 660 Writing
SAT IIs: 760 US History, 730 World History, 700 Chemistry
Around a 95W avg and I was ranked like 105/1000+

aerospace engineer
sat: math-740 cr-700 writing-600
sat2: math-700 physics-700
rank-16/300 or so

you're good man, I wouldn't worry

thanks a lot guys. Its just that applying to college is worrying me soo much. Again thanks for giving me the info i needed!! :D
