Case Hall Dorms?

Hi, I got accepted to James Madison College at MSU, and I love the educational aspect of it but I'm wondering about residential life. I can't find anywhere on the MSU website any floor plans or tours of the Case Hall dorms, can anyone tell me what the rooms are like? Are they bigger than average? Smaller? Are they nice or kind of cave-like? Is the furniture built in or is it all movable? (I like the built in furniture). Are the bathrooms nice? And how strict is MSU with decorations?

Sorry for all the questions! I'd really appreciate any help!
Thanks :)

I live in Case right now and honestly would not want to live in any other dorm. Case is in South Neighborhood, which is in an awesome location. Case rooms are suite-style, meaning two pairs of roommates (4 people) share one bathroom. The bathrooms might seem really small at orientation, but even with four girls we don’t have a problem with space. Not having community bathrooms is a huge plus. As far as room size, Brody has bigger rooms, West Circle’s are smaller and I can’t say for the others. The rooms are a decent size and I don’t know of anyone not having enough space. All the furniture is movable. The rooms are pretty standard and the windows are pretty big. It’s not hard to make rooms feel homey, just opt against the typical lofted beds separate on each wall. Decorations? Well, if you mean hanging things on the wall it won’t happen unless you drill holes into the wall. But of course, you can decorate your room in whatever way you want. Case also has a pretty good cafeteria, which opened in the beginning of 2012, so it’s modern and up-to-date. All of my friends in East (where a good percent of freshmen live), are jealous that I live in South. Lastly, try calling Residence Life for more info. The liveon.msu.edu website was updated this fall and a ton of the information is no longer listed. I’m sure they’d be happy to answer any questions you have.

Good luck with your decision!
