im a washington resident and ive narrowed down my choices to case, urbana, and washington. im interested in majoring in either CS or biomedical engineering, but im having trouble deciding which university to attend. while ive received 30,000 dollars from case western, money is not really an issue for these three colleges. i want to have flexibility in choosing majors, just in case i dont like engineering, and in terms of job placement, internship opportunities, and just overall academics, i feel like all three are very good, which is why im having difficulty choosing. any advice/opinions? im really looking for interesting courses, good academics, and good internship opportunities

At Case, you can freely switch between schools (I started off in the nursing school and am now in sociology in the college of Arts & Sciences) without having to reapply like you do at so many schools (i.e., Georgetown). I would really urge you to look at the atmosphere and social aspects of the school though, as a current Case student who chose between 10 schools only a few years ago, large and small, east coast and mid west. They are all radically different, Case is a much smaller very individualized and focused atmosphere, less focused on partying. You can find it but more students are focused on academics and extracurricular life certainly. That would be a deciding factor for me if I were in you shoes. I would say Case has the most distinguished program, then UIUC, then Washington, if that is something that is important to you.
