Will we know what scholarships we received (if any) at the same time of our decision notification?
If they have your FAFSA and CSS profile then yes.
Did we need FAFSA and CSS for merit-based scholarships too?
This is what the email states: “Students who have submitted the FAFSA and CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE will also be able to see an estimated financial aid package online.”
@MSMead
That is financial aid, not the scholarships. They haven’t mentioned anything in the mail about the scholarships. I checked the website and it states that all the US citizens are automatically considered for scholarships.
So let’s see.
Financial aid packages include everything needed to make a decision. Scholarships, grants, etc.
You don’t need FAFSA for metit scholarships and it will be shown along either admission decision (check responses from EA).
Just discovered this page. I was accepted back in December for EA with a $20,500 scholarship and a $20,000 grant. Does anyone know when they will announce the winners of application scholarships that don’t require interviews, like the leadership one?
I got denied from the PPSP. Does this mean I have a lower chance of admission RD?
@Glang77 Late March I guess
@sciencegirl20 - Did you opt in for RD? I assume you have good stats since you applied for PPSP, so your chances should be good.
Anyone here will be super happy if you get in?
Me…
Did anyone find out the result already? I saw someone say he got an admission
CWRU just got back to me. Scholarship finalists will be notified tonight as well.
congrats on your acceptance!
I was accepted back in December for EA, sorry.
they just pushed back decisions to friday ugh
Okay now I have to wait until friday
"Yesterday I wrote to you regarding our intention to release admission decisions later this evening in advance of our published Regular Decision notification date of March 20.
Unfortunately, we find that we need a little more time to be absolutely sure applicants’ decisions, scholarships and financial aid packages are correct. While this final review shouldn’t take more than a day, the university will be undergoing some technical updates tomorrow that will likely impact your ability to access your applicant portal tomorrow night through early Friday morning.
We are therefore rescheduling decision release for Regular Decision admission until 8 p.m. Eastern Friday, March 17. At that time, applicants will receive an email providing a link to the secure webpage with their admission status. Students who have submitted the FAFSA and CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE also will be able to see an estimated financial aid package online.
I truly regret holding you in suspense even for a couple more days, but I hope you would understand that ensuring the accuracy of your decision is deserving of some extra time, and I sincerely appreciate your understanding."
