I think anyone coming from Anchorage gets a little boost for geographic diversity! I wouldn’t worry about it.

Okay, phew. I’m on the mailing list, and plus, I signed up for an interview. I should be okay in the interest department.

I just got another email from Case that says there has been an update to the status of your application to Case Western Reserve University. Did anyone else receive this email?

However, when I logged in… I don’t see any difference/changes/updates. Does the update actually refer to my decision posted and I’ll be able to access/view it only tomorrow?

@ssahil - Just got that email, but nothing appears to have changed. Weird…

@ssahil I got this email too, and I checked and the one thing I noticed was that they added a second address that was the same as the one that I entered, but instead of the city “Lakewood” they put “Cleveland”.

just curious!! Can you guys access “My Financial Aid, your portal for accessing your financial aid information.” portal??

Ya I got the same email. Nothing changed

Haha I also got the email. They had me freaking out a day early yet nothing appeared to change.

Why on earth would they do this? Lol

Yes got the same email. No change when I log in.

I got it too and there were no changes. Really freaked me out

I got the email as well. I was definitely freaked out! But I think it was what @aoeu said: it was the email address “addition”. We will all find out tomorrow, so cross your fingers everybody! AHHH, the wait is killing me!!!

@Songbird325 Did you apply ED?

@Songbird325 what do you mean by the email address addition?

Has anyone asked about the email via Facebook, Twitter, email or other mode of communication?

Got both e-mails, applied EA. Why can’t they just release the results now…

@Songbird325 yes, what do you mean by “e-mail address addition”?

D’s notifications page is also unchanged. They already had D’s email address so I am not sure what @songbird325 meant by “email address addition”. Thank goodness for CC! If I didn’t have this thread to verify that I’m not the only one, it would be even MORE stressfull!! It seems a little cruel to send out that letter saying the admissions status has changed, but not show the change we are all waiting for, no?

@jmek15 I agree! My son checked his e-mail and saw the most recent message and thought we were going to find out early…but he logged on and saw no change. Jumped on here to see if others experienced the same thing…glad we were able to confirm that. They’re toying with us!

Case Western is my super-hopeful safety/good fit. I’m applying to schools like upenn, vandy, rice, and northwestern, but I’m really hopefully case accepts me if my reach don’t.
If not I’ll have to go to UF…(yes I’m from Florida)
Georgia tech is also good-fit maybies.
Pricing I guess will decide the duel between case, UF, Georgia tech and UV, but all else equal, Georgia tech and case reign.

Anyone care to comment on my chances? I’ve not been paying a ton of attention to case forums, been obsessed with my penn early decision.

35 act, 800-800(770)-650(630)(r-m-w)(((I never sent case my latest sat. So the score they got was 800-770-630. 800-800-650 was November.

Great common app essay, I didn’t try for an interview.
A nice collection of extracurriculars, things like engineering competition club, national Honor society, academic team, magic the gathering club, anime club, volunteering at a food pantry, volunteering at my middle school for their mu-alpha theta chapter, gaystraight alliance.

Lots of ap classes, I’m taking 7.5 this year… :/
