Just wondering if any accepted students have received their final award letters from Case? After applying EA and being accepted, there was a letter with merit scholarships back in December, but I assumed that would change after filing the FAFSA…?
When did you file your FAFSA? When was their FA deadline? Did your family file tax returns and update the FAFSA with the IRS retrieval tool?
My D got FA package about a month after FA deadline (different school). Did you check your student portal?
Did you fill out CSS profile as well and checked your email in case they needed other documents?
When was the RD admission decisions done? Since that is when they will know the total picture. If it was more than two weeks ago I would call and politely ask them when they will be available.
Thanks everyone.My daughter had applied early action, and was accepted in December, with merit aid. Our FAFSA and CSS were filed mid January, and the extra forms for the school were sent along with tax returns. I did call yesterday to politely ask when they were sending final award letters. They told me they would be sent via email, and they are trying to get them out by the end of the month. That’s today, so we’re hoping to see something soon.
Yes I got my new financial aid award about a week after filing my FAFSA.
