<p>With 10 days left, I am panicking trying to decide between these two schools. I am planning to major in either Chemical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering. I am hoping that you wonderful posters on CC can help me to figure this out. Thanks!</p>
<p>For BME - Case may be a better choice since they have good research facility and relationship with 4 hospitals nearby (UnivHospital, Cleveland Clinic, VA and 1moreIforgot).</p>
<p>Case ranking in BME has been going up slowly every year too.</p>

<p>I ran cross country at Rochester and loved it! It looks like you have 2 excellent schools to choose from, so I’m sure you’ll end up choosing the one that feels like the best fit for you.</p>
<p>A few things about Rochester…
Call the Career Center to hear about outcomes of Chem E and BME students.</p>
<p>The campus is in the city of Rochester, but 2.5 miles south of downtown on a bend of the Genesee River. Lots of running options and green space to work with. The Genesee River Trailway, Highland Park, Cobbs Hill, Genesee Valley Park, and the Barge Canal trail are all easily accessible from the River Campus. There are no busy city streets dissecting the campus, if that matters to you at all.</p>
<p>Also, don’t forget about Rochester’s Open Curriculum and the Take-5 program (5th year tuition free to study something outside of your academic major). </p>
<p>The University of Rochester has a lot of opportunities for undergraduate research (as I’m sure Case does too) so I hope you can give the Chem E. and BME departments a call to have some of your questions answered.</p>

<p>^ I’m also deciding between these 2 schools. It’s the age old question - Case or Rochester? I haven’t actually been accepted to Rochester yet, though, so maybe the decision will be a really easy one.</p>
