I am currently undecided between Case Western and Villanova! I would be majoring in civil engineering. Does anyone prefer one over the other? Thanks in advance!

Kinda taking this down to the wire, huh?
They are two very different schools.
V is Roman Catholic and sports are huge, CW is not and sports are an afterthought.
Have you visited both?

S was accepted to both but will not be attending either. If he had to choose between the 2, he probably pick Nova for being closer to home, not as cold as Case and may be a better fit. However he received a large scholarship from Case and Nova would cost more than $20K over Case per year, and that would likely be the deciding factor. Case seemed to have a more personal feel.

If I attend Villanova it will also be more expensive, but fortunately this does not have to be a deciding factor. Likewise, I am catholic but whether a university has a religious affiliation or not does not seem like a deciding factor either. I have visited both and although they are completely different I feel like I would fit in well at both. I am a girl, so I think it is true that Nova has more girl engineers which I like. However, I like the smaller class sizes and smaller campus at Case. Do you know if one school would be harder than the other in work load or are they both similar cause its the same curriculum? And would one look better when I go to get a job? Or which would you consider more prestigious? I think Nova seems like it has more courses that they require everyone to take (like the augustinian seminar), does anyone know if that is true? Any comments would help since I have to decide May 1st! Thanks!! :)
