I’M SO EXCITED because I got rejected/ defer from many colleges.
I had 2050 SAT, 4.04 weighted GPA. and was waitlisted
31 ACT, 4.0 UW GPA, Top 10%

(I would say I have good scores but everyone on CC seems to get a 36 which is apparently the only good score, but whatever)

Wait listed with 2180 SAT
I got accepted with a $26000 scholarship!!! Also, at the end of my acceptance email, there was a P.S. talking about what I wrote my essay on (spending my sophomore year in Nigeria). It made me feel a little special lol. Congrats to everyone and to those waitlisted, don’t give up hope!
Waitlisted with a 2370 SAT and 36 ACT. I’m in a really confused state right now.

@Satsarenotfun They think you’re an overqualified candidate who will get accepted to other schools, so they rather not accept you now but if you do accept the waitlist, you would probably get in. CWRU likes to accept people who they know will go to their college, and with stats like yours, you’re bound to be at a better place than CWRU!

Case was a backup for me which kinda sucks and it’s the first school I’ve heard back from. But congrats to those who were accepted!

I just got accepted regular decision. I also got $22,500 in merit scholarships and I am very excited to be at Case next year!!! I had a 2050 on my SAT and am in the top 5% of my class if that helps anyone.
I don’t think I am overqualified, since I don’t have stellar SAT or ACT score. The college admission game is really tiring. I am just so sick of it.
