Case Western vs. Rose Hulman CS

Hi I want to go into Computer Science and got rejected from Cornell, Berkeley, Stanford, Carnegie Mellon etc. so now I need to decide between Case Western and Rose Hulman. Compare/Contrast their CS programs? What are some other things I should know about the two colleges? How do their Computer Science programs compare to the schools I got rejected from?

Wait, were you rejected from Carnegie Mellon or are you considering it?

Given the choice, I would go to Carnegie Mellon. The program is more well-known and well-respected. At least it seems that way to me.

Both schools are good for CS. Which curriculum looks better to you?

Sorry, meant Rose. Edited. I was actually waitlisted at CMU but I’ve given up all hope of getting in.

When people have asked in the past, I have recommended RH over CW. Not really sure why, though. Just sort of a gut feeling.

Rose hulman. Never heard of case western

Rose-Hulman. Case is kind of weak in the CS dept.

Rose will cost more, though. Case is very generous with merit aid to deserving students. Do you qualify for financial aid?

CSMajor, Case Western Reserve University is one of the top research universities in the U.S., ranked #41 of Major Research Universities by USNWR.

It is unbelievable that you have never heard of them
