<p>Well, these are the two programs I applied for, and I got into both of them... Decesion time I guess... I have the princton review "top 361 colleges", and Catawba and Elon are the only two in their... I didnt however get into Elon, but I did into the other. Now Mars Hill came back today. Does anyone know of these programs/schools? Right now I am leaning way towards Catawba, but still was just wondering... Any help would be great! Thanks</p>
<p>A friend's D is at Catawba and apparently is enjoying it there very much. This girl studied acting at an arts high school before going, and did a lot of community theater during her summers, too. I am told by her parents that she has a lot of performing opps at Catawba. I know nothing about Mars Hill.</p>
<p>My D applied and was accepted to Catawba, it was her safety school. My D found out about Catawba from someone she was in a summer play with who was going to attend Catawba that fall. I ran in to this kid's dad today so I asked him how his son was doing and if he liked the school, etc. His dad paused for a minute and then said YES, he loves it. He explained his hesitation, they never get to see their son anymore, he eats, sleeps and breaths theatre now. He said their facilities are top notch, state of the art and there are lots of opportunities to perform. He said his son did summer stock last year some where in Kentucky and this year he auditioned at Strawhat and is going to do summerstock in Texas and got the lead role in the musical they will be doing. So, I found his comments to be very favorable towards Catawba.</p>
