Catholic U VS Christian religion?

One of my prompts read: As a Catholic University committed to building a more inclusive community, USD values students with diverse backgrounds and experiences. Briefly explain how your unique background and interests will contribute to our community.

Do you think it will be okay to talk about my Christian background? Or should I write on an extracurricular instead?

bump, I really need an answer.

No, you need to elaborate. What makes your view of christianity unique. Are you a liberal Christian? Are you law-driven, gospel-driven? etc.

Catholics are Christians, just as Anglicans and Presbyterians are Christians. How on earth would talking about your Christian faith make you unique? How would being a Christian add to the community? Not much, in my opinion. If you want to delve into how your theological differences from the Catholic canon make you unique, then go ahead, but I doubt that's what they're looking for. Try to think outside the religion box.

Catholisism is a denomination of Christianity. You WILL offend if you write on how being Christian makes you diverse, unless you write about how your demoniation makes you diverse (i.e. baptist, calvinist, etc). I applied to USD as well and I wrote about how I am from an affluent suburban home, yet I learned about life in the homeless shelter Ive spent the last year volunteering in.
