Catholic vs. George-Mason

I am moving to DC and have been accepted to Catholic University and George-Mason University for my MM in Vocal Performance. Not sure what is a better program. Can anyone share their opinions on the schools with me? Thanks!

I cannot answer that question, but I have taken the liberty of adding your acceptances to the http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/music-major/1045522-master-list-music-school-acceptances-fall-2011-a-15.html

Congratulations on your acceptances and I hope you find the information you need to choose between them.

This winter I have been involved with auditions for a summer opera program, and we heard 4-5 very fine singers from Catholic, all from one particular teacher. I would highly recommend this school and teacher.

Catholic University has the superior music department. Also, CUA is more centrally located in DC for more easily travelling on the Metro to the Kennedy Center and other music performance venues.
