That was actually a mistake on my part, it should say DOUBLE zeroes

In regards to:
"If the teacher had the student for a period of time and has evaluated the sudent's work over a period of time then the teacher would be in a position to objectively state if the essay has discrepancies from the body of work the student has previously turned in."
the teacher had had the girl for barely a month or so; it was the first major writing assignment.

As for what happened on the two occasions, the first one involved me copying a piece of homework because I was overstressed from finals. I'm deeply regretful over that one, and I promised myself I would never cheat again. I have yet to cheat again.

The second incident involved a teacher accusing me of willingly giving answers to other students on a test I had taken the period before. I had been talking to them with some notes in hand (related to the test, but not specifically). The teacher appeared, grabbed the notes, and accused me of cheating that same day. I appealed the decision 3 times, each time higher up in the chain of command, each time being shot down by belligerent administrators and teachers. And, ironically, one Ms. Uranga was involved in my appeals process, getting in an argument with my father over simple facts.

I'm not trying to defend myself, I'm telling the facts.

haha, at my school cheating / copying hw isnt really that big of a deal. right now everybody is panicking and looking for somebody who did the calc takehome test. ****, the calc summer hw was uploaded by somebody onto the internet in a 20 page PDF ahahah.

Cheating twice would seem rather serious. You might be best served by going to a Community College for a few years & re-think your priorities & then apply as a transfer student. Ethics are really important in "real life" & the academic world. I'd talk this over with your folks & GC.

Honestly, everyone cheats. It's only a big deal if you get caught.

at my school its not a big deal if you get caught :D

they usually will just make you redo and turn in the assignment for late credit. seems like the teachers are more interested in making you learn the material than punishing people, unless you get a strict teacher that just gives you a zero and maybe calls the parents.

im speaking from other peoples experiences of course.

i go to a public highschool. your kids probably go to a private school.

last year, the week after the first week of school had 5 fights in 5 days. was anybody expelled? no way, not for a fight. punish stupid people by taking away their education? thats just stupid in itself. unfortunately there hasnt been a single fight this year, im feeling deprived. Oh, but the principal banned rapping at my school! yesss.

If I were the principal, you would have certainly been at least suspended for cheating and maybe even expelled.Don't do this in college. They take academic honesty very seriously.
