Cause for concern?

I sent my application on the 13th of Nov for ED. I haven't recieved a post card, email, or any correspondence at all telling me they've recieved my application. I know others on here who sent their apps later than me have recieved post cards. Should I email my adcom? I'm thinking I should give it a few more days (till tuesday or wednesday the 29th/30th) and then email if i havent recieved anything by then. What do you think?

i would email them.

maybe they havent sent you anything because it's really busy right now since they only have only like 2.5 weeks until they have to send out all of the results.

laxfan, im waiting for your say on this :)
because i didn't get mine either

i want to know about this too. i sent in on the 14th and have not received anything. i am really worried.

Same here...

Submitted the app on 11/13. I mailed my CD containing my video for the $10 essay on 11/14.

I recieved an e-mail saying that they recieved my app...then about three days later I got another e-mail saying that my app has been printed.

I haven't recieved anything from JHU via snail-mail.

Getting kind of worried...especially since I want to ensure that they got my CD...

i didn't get any emails... but i submitted it online. i got a postcard but thats it... same idea?

^i just got an email saying they printed my app and the postcard. i didn't get that 2nd email either.

^^Same here. I didn't get that log-in some people are talking about.

Well I sent the paper app by mail. I didnt apply online. Still, should correspondence be delayed 2 weeks?

I applied online...

this is all i got:
Dear Megan,

The Johns Hopkins University is committed to safeguarding the privacy of students and their personal information. In an ongoing effort to eliminate Social Security Numbers from correspondence, the Office of Student Financial Services will use the following unique identification number to communicate with you:
etc etc....does that mean they got my app?

it means they got your financial aid information...

errr...plus i know that they downloaded my app from commonapp.org...but that's it..

Just a note, I recieved my blue postcard on Wednesday of this week. That's the 30th of Nov. I mailed my application from around Philadelphia on the 14th. Hope you all recieved your confirmations.

yay! i got mine too- i turned it in on the 15th, got my postcard on...tues or wednesday.

is the postcard in place of the receipt, if you sent your supplements by certified mail??

^i dont know..because i never got my receipt for the certified mail for my counselor recommendation, but when i put in the track number, it says it was delivered and i never got an email saying anything was missing. so i'm just trustin gthat everything processed. haha.

no need to worry...
