The Blue Book gives you a range for each of the 3 sections on the SATs. What score do you take as your score (the highest, lowest, etc). How did that compare to how you did actually?

Can you put it in this format:

Blue Book
Math: Range
Writing: Range
CR: Range
Overall: Range

How you actually did

Thanks.

Yeah guys, this would help me a whooooole lot (and probably a lot of other people), if you've taken the test before and did the practice tests . . . right now I have a really bad case of nerves and basically no self-confidence and earlier I was even considering taking the test a month later, but my mom said it was just a psychological thing, i don't know though. but yeah this is a graet idea. i wish the book wouldn't give ranges since they vary by soo much.

I search the forums about this topic...didn't find any relavent results.

same here!

bump this post.. bump bump bump

I like to use the Score Conversion Table found with College Board's Free Practice Test (located online or in your guidance office). Obviously each test varies, but I like seeing an exact score.

the problem with the scale for College Board's Free Practice Test:
it is curved specificlly for that one test. notice on the bottom of the page, it says do not use this scale for other tests.
