CB Didn't Release Some or All of Your May 2012 AP Scores?

Just wondering if College Board is holding some or all of your May 2012 AP scores! If so, have you called CB about it? Did they give a time frame to resolve the issue? We have been able to get all AP scores for 2012 except for the Calculus BC where the CB said there was a discrepancy between the date on the answer sheet and the date were the test was scheduled and was supposed to be offered. I know for a fact that the test was offered the same day and period (morning) it was scheduled by CB and there were literally over 50 students who took the test that day at S high school. Any shared experience/insights into that would be greatly appreciated.

When you misbubble something with CB, there’s usually a delay.

But when your S bubbled in something that said…

Oh i’m taking the exam… the day after the test or a couple hours early/after

That’s “cheating” if you got the exam before time anyway

They are working out if that really happened or not.

Call AP services on monday and speak with them (have your S do it)

Thanks for the response. S is a Math wizard with 800 SAT-MATH, 36-ACT Math (twice), 80 PSAT-MATH and he is possibly the most capable Math student in his high school. His only problem is “very poor handwriting” that I personally have difficulty reading at times. He took all AP exams at the regular time with the rest of the students. On top of that he said that he is certain that he bubbled the right date and time for the test. Could it be his hand-writing? idk!

No, bad handwriting shouldn’t matter.

Well, when we called the CB they said there was a “discrepancy between the date on the answer sheet and the date the test was scheduled”. I looked at the AP form on a CB link and there are only two places to enter the date and time; you write it down and then you bubble it! S said that he is certain that he bubbled the date and time right!

Regardless of who’s error it was (look at the rescore stories)They are strict on this kind of stuff, hopefully in their normal time-frame 6-10 weeks?

They will give you a response. They will probably contact the person who Admin the test.

Just wanted to post an update that S Calculus BC/AB scores were released today and he got 5 and 5.Thank you all for the input.

I am confused…when will they be mailed? I do not want to pay for the over the phone scores…is that was everyone here is doing?

curleq94-see the mail thread in this forum. It appears some people in all states have received scores by now, but not all people in all states. I expect yours will be coming very soon.

My English Lang and Statistics scores aren’t available. I think I may have bubbled something wrong.

I called AP services twice…annoyingly with the options I picked it never got me through to a customer representative. The automated system guy just told me to visit the website for info.

I’m international and calling is expensive so I think I’m just going to wait for the mailed reports.

“hawkzzter” Try calling the exam integrity office! They have several numbers. Here’s one of the numbers to call: 609-406-5444.
