What a fair situation: I waited 3 weeks to learn that they canceled the scores of Jeddah test takers, they canceled scores and offer a full refund of the fee saying "learned of potential test security violations. We conducted an administrative review and confirmed that test-takers at several test centers may have had an unfair advantage during the administration. Because you tested at one of the affected centers, your January SAT scores have been canceled". They did this for fairness hah! Why they canceled my score, I did nothing wrong other than taking the SAT test in the KSA. Is it fair to cancel a lot of people's test because of a few stupids? And they canceled it just one day before March 10 test, I could not register. I have to wait till May 5st test date. Is there anybody else who lives in Jeddah and got the same email?

Unless you propose another reasonable course of action, how in the world could TCB’s decision be considered unfair?

What else were they supposed to do? Send in robots from the future with lie detecting abilities built in to question everyone in Judah individually?

Of course they have to punish them… there’s nothing else they can do.

According to rumors, some people were caught while trying to sell copy of the SAT questions. These people must be punished but what about other people who sacrificed 3-4 months for a SAT scores and did not do anything wrong. It is the CB who should provide the security of the questions. If it is not safe to dot it there do not administer the test there or provide the full security. My son spent 3 months for preparation and waited 1 and a half months to get to learn his score was canceled. He has deadlines for college applications. And in this communication era the thieves might distribute it to whole world via the internet, do you think they should cancel all scores on Jan 28 test. They must find the guilty people and punish them not innocents.

I understand your frustration. And trust me the College Board surely wishes it could find a better method of dealing with this, but there truly is no accurate and completely safe way to wage these type of situations.

It’s annoying, but it’s all TCB can do.

The College Board canceled all scores in South Korea for the January 2007 SAT.
