Has anyone taken it? Is it good? how does it work? I'd really apprecaite if you could give some info about it.

You should start with the College Board blue book that has 10 tests, 3 of which are actual tests and then use this online course if you really need more tests. It is expensive.

My child has done all the 10 tests in the blue book. She wants to know if the online “course” of college board has good review materials, in addition to extra tests. Has anybody taken the online course? some comments please.

I use the online course in addition to the BB and I like it a lot. I am on the computer so much of the time anyway, it makes it easy to just take a break from homework to get extra practice in my more problematic areas. I recommend it.

It’s a great sourse of the SAT preparation but, in the same time, it’s very expensive.

You can save about $40 on it by buying a code from eBay. It’s the same product, just cheaper. They sell you the access code, so all you have to do is enter it in. It’s 100% legal, I’m not quite sure how they sell them for so cheap (maybe they bought them in bulk, or maybe they’re left over from a school district?), but they work. Just make sure to get a reliable seller (look through some of the comments first).

can someone give a link to this course? I checked on cb website, can’t find it - I found one that’s 3 months and costs like $70.

I don’t think this is the one.

Yes, that is the course I have been using. As I stated, I did find it to be helpful.

Thank you!

You should also double check with your school’s college counseling office. Our school pays for a subscription so all the students get to use it for free.

Frankly I would not consider it too pricey… Take note that most SAT courses average at about 1000 bucks. Quick SAT Question 1000-60

eBay sells a subscription code usually given out by guidance counselors for 10 dollars.

Are those ebay things reliable? Has anybody used them? $10 is really a good deal

They are so cheap because they are bought using stolen credit cards. That’s why most online codes are cheap in ebay. Before you could buy a $150 itunes gift card for $10 bucks on ebay. In a nutshell, if you have a conscience don’t do it, otherwise go ahead. The owner of the stolen credit card will probably get the money back from the credit card company :S .
