So what exactly would I lose if I don't buy it? (EXCEPT FOR the 10 tests.) I heard that the practice quizzes are exactly the same as in Blue Book, is that correct?
Anyone who did buy a CB online course, please say if it's worth the money?

If you’re running out of tests, then buy it. The online course is definitely better than using tests from some company.

but I mean except for the tests are the practice questions and quizzes there different from the BB? I am trying to decide between buying PDFs of all tests from somebody and getting the actual online course

The order goes
- SAT Official Guide (10 Tests)
- CB Online course
- Others :)

Does anyone know of discounts in addition to the $10 book owner discount?

The comments below are for just the math sections of the Online Course.

The Practice Quizzes are different from the questions in the Blue Book, there is some overlap, I saw two or three algebra questions that were the same. Other than that they are all different. Most of the questions are from SAT tests, the ones that can be found in the old RED SAT books.

Here is the breakdown of questions in the Quizzes:
Number and Operations: 3 Quizzes; 20 Questions each
Algebra and Functions Review: 3 Quizzes; 20 Questions each
Geometry and Measurement Review: 3 Quizzes; 20 Questions each
Data Analysis, Statistics, and Measurement Review; 3 Quizzes; 12 Questions each.

That is a total of 216 additional questions. I personally like the questions and recommend that students complete them after each topic review.

There are also four more quizzes as part of the lesson review that are also different from the Blue Book. However, the math lessons are identical to the Blue Book.

If you need the 10 tests along with roughly 250 new math questions which are part of the quiz, then definitely subscribe to the course.

I got the course and it does appear expensive, but in the end it is not.

At least a dozen and a half “quizzes” or one section long practice sets adds up to about 7-8 hours of work.

10 practice Tests= 40 HOURS of Practice!!!

That is like 6 or 7$ per test I think, which is low considering how much official practice tests can help with the real sat.

It’s worth it for me(for D2) and I’ve already have 6 old CB tests from 2007 time frame, D1got it free). It gave me the essay grading for $7 per test. It points out to the exact problem and I did not need to waste time with the old tests.

So the 10 tests are different from the book tests?

yes, sophiax27, they’re different

I bought the online tests two years ago to get the practice tests.
Do you think I can get new tests if I buy it now?

No, I think they’d be the same tests.

Wow I got the SAT Online Course for free through my high school guidance counselor who gave me a code!

I was wondering how did the online tests compare to the real test (I’m taking it really soon)? And is it harder (by section) to the BB?
