CC and "Momofthree" make the NYTimes!

<p>An article about online college research in Today's Styles section:</p>

I also spent a couple of hours reading the posts on the discussion forums at Collegeconfidential.com. I was unable to tear myself away from the naked longing with which students discussed their chances of being accepted. ("I have a real hook," Harvard2011 wrote. "I'm from South Dakota and I'm from a low income family.") And with which parents discussed their children. ("Thanks for writing," momofthree wrote. "If S2 got such an e-mail, he has not mentioned it. I do know he has a complete file as his dad called to check!")

<p><strong><em>lol</em></strong> momofthree you've hit the big time- and with such meaningful words!!!</p>

<p>Read it this morning and figured one of you would post it on here! ;) Pretty interesting article - just hopped on to the College ******* site and read through several pages of what was available online re individual colleges. The comments made Bard sound like a den of iniquity when it comes to "substance use"... gulp...</p>

<p>Have you all discussed the College ******* series at all - as to what you think of them, etc? </p>

<p>Back to the topic - it was fun to recognize some familiar names from this board while drinking my morning coffee and scanning the NY Times. :D</p>

<p>Wow, yeah, I sound really intelligent and informative, I must say!! It came off the Beloit thread, I think. Wonder how in the world the writer picked THAT one. :) My one minute of anonymous "fame."</p>

<p>Hey, momofthree, may I have your autograph? :D</p>

<p>You will have to clip and save the article in a scrapbook! Only you will know who was really quoted!</p>
