so ive already taken a lot of classes at one cc and have been taking a few classes on and off at another one because i can't always get into all of my classes. anyways, ive found that the classes at the second cc are a bit easier. if i got a C in a class in the first cc, can i still take the equivalent class over at the other cc if i think i could get an A there? The class i want to take over is a prep course for my major, so im hoping this would be a good idea so i can raise my GPA. do you think the class and new grade would still count and would it cancel out my other grade?

I don't think so. It doesn't make a difference if you go to several different schools-- only D's and F's can be replaced. And I wouldn't count on a school being easier just on the basis of a couple professors. You probably just happened to get easy ones that semester. I sincerely doubt that all the professors at a school confer together and decided how difficult they will make their classes.

actually, the class im taking is the second semester of chemistry. the first semester i took it at another college and i know for a fact that it's harder at that college. the class im taking now is much easier considering its the second semester, and the teacher i have teaches the first semester at that college also. so im thinking it'd definitely be easier. but i guess if it isnt possible for it to count then i wont waste my time.
