CC course during high school

Do medical schools look at community college courses taken during high school?

Also, what if the community college grade shows up on the Undergrad University's official transcript?

Yes. Still yes.

then how come on websites, it says that California Medical Schools don't even care/look at high school grades? I'm so lost, thanks for the tip

They don't care about the grades you earned in high school courses. They care about the grades you earn in college courses, regardless of when you took those college courses.

I haven't actually told my University about a class I took this summer at a community college. I didn't get the grade I really wanted.. I mean it's fine to list it on my application for AMCAS when applying for Med school but not notifying my University right? There's no real way of my University finding out, right? haha thank you so much for your help.

Your college classes in high school will not come into account with your GPA. So if you work really hard and get A's it will only affect your high school GPA and not your undergrad GPA.

Post #6 is incorrect. Medical schools ask for all college-level work, regardless of when it was completed.

I didn't argue that...They ask for it and get it, but it is not factored into your GPA from the Community College to your undergraduate college. If your GPA is recalculated by the med school then yes, it will matter. If not, then it is on a Pass/Fail status.

It is, and it does.

Regardless of whether your undergrad college will use the CC grades, they will count for med school. AMCAS calculates GPA for med school apps and AMCAS requires ALL transcripts (including community colleges) to be sent.

Is AP on a Pass/Fail basis when it is sent to the med school?

If your college granted you college credits for your AP tests, then med schools will see that. However, the actual scores that you received on your AP tests and the grades that you received in the AP courses will not show up.
