How do I click in a post to just see the comments I haven’t yet seen? How do I see if I’ve made a comment in a post? There are no more red stars. I’m willing to take the new with the old, but I need a road map to figure out how to use it. Thanks.
Hi everyone…this color scheme closely resembles the “fresh” skin on the previous site. That skin actually was used quite a bit more than the “classic” skin. Having said that, we can certainly look into an alternative available if accessibility is an issue.
Is there a way, as in the past, to see the hierarchy list of who posted in a thread?
@VeryHappy…thank you for your questions. Currently, there are no markers to indicate you’ve posted in a thread, but that is a definitely a feature we want to explore adding in. As for discerning read from unread, the thread title will be bolded, though there is no yellow dot as you were accustomed to seeing on the previous format. We can also look into doing something there as well. This site will be a work in progress over the coming weeks as we digest your feedback and make tweaks. Please bear with us. We’ll get there
looks like we can now edit for an hour, but its shows immediately that we’ve edited and there is no way to explain ? (my previous was a typo, as usual). And oh my-- multiple smilie icons?? 8->
We meet again, jym626 I think that edit window is supposed to be set to 15 minutes (vs 10 on the previous site). You are correct that there is no default option to include a reason for your edit, but I’ll add that to the list. The multiple smilie icons may be going away if the prove annoying enough
Hi Lenitus. Is there a tutorial anywhere?? Its hard to teach us old dogs new tricks. And IIRC, the previous edit time was 20 minutes, not 10. Am still trying to figure out waht that orange flame means…
OK-- I am guessing the orange flame means that thread had at one time been a featured thread. How’s my guess?
