The most amazing thing happened to me today.

I'm a transfer applicant from University of Michigan.

The decisions are releasing this week and next week.

Today, I got this email:

Dear Felix,

Transfer applicants cannot apply to joint degree programs, such as the Jerome Fisher program in Management and Technology.
You must choose either to apply to Wharton or The School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. If you choose the Engineering school, you must identify an engineering discipline. You cannot apply “curriculum deferred”.

While we do have your application from last year, I would like you to confirm to which program you are applying.

All the best,

I applied for the Jerome Fisher Program. Of course, my prime choice is Wharton! I stated that very clearly in my application, as well as in last year's application.

I understand what this email means :(

I will attempt to write one last email/essay to the admission office (I've written them like 20 letters) to express my interest in Wharton.

I posted this in the Penn section because I think it will be taken more seriously here. College Confidential, please help me reach my dream. I have ideas on what some topics may be, but could some of you experienced members please give me some insight? How should I approach this situation.

I feel my dream is very near, yet very far. Thank you one last time.
