I should be able to get out there in October. A friend of mine’s in Toledo and could use some support right now (her mom is seriously ill). If @romanigypsyeyes is around, I can bring her toddler quilt!

No longer a Michigander (or Michi-gosling as we used to call ourselves) but I grew up fairly close to that mall. I think it used to be a pumpkin farm!

Unfortunately, I will be in AZ getting a knee replacement, so you guys have fun.

It’s nearly September!
I never intended to take the lead in a possible get together but I am now deep into moving likely in October and getting a house ready to sell in September. If we get together I would do my darndest to come but I don’t want to lead any effort to decide dates, make specific plans, etc.
If someone wants to lead the effort please feel free! 
Okay, ladies, let’s try to narrow this down:
Preferred day: Saturday, Sunday, either
Preferred weekend: 7,14,21, 28. Of note, Michigan plays at Michigan State the 21st. List first choice and second choice
Restaurant choice in Lansing: Bravo, Mitchell’s, Chang. Check out the menus of each. Pick one.

I can make any of the dates. If the MSU/UM game is at night, the traffic shouldn’t be awful in the afternoon - but they haven’t scheduled it yet. As far as the restaurant, I like all 3 - any clue which might be the most amenable to a group of folks hanging around awhile?
As S and family will be visiting for two of those weekends, I am unlikely to attend. Enjoy!

Please pick your preferred weekend day, 7/8, 14/15, 28/29 and restaurant. Lansing is the most centrally located, so we will be there.
Any of the Sundays work best for me, but I can do Saturdays. The 7th is my least favorite of the dates unless we meet around noon (my S’s band has a show in Detroit that night). Mitchell’s is my favorite of the three restaurants, but all are okay by me.

I won’t know exactly when we’ll be in Michigan (on our drive back from Maine) until a week or two prior, so I can’t have any input on dates, but the venue doesn’t matter to me. If I can make whichever date the group selects, I will be there, but will notify either way as soon as I can.

Sundays 10/8 and 10/22 look like possibilities for me (but please don’t plan around me since I could have a last minute conflict). Mitchell’s sounds good!

This may be unpopular but maybe it would be best to move this until the spring. Seems like we have quite a few conflicts.

It’s something to consider. But I think also that conflicts there will always be! But obviously if more than a couple people can’t land on a date, maybe delaying makes sense.
I can’t fully commit to a date because we will be doing a house move in October - date to yet be determined! But, if a date is decided and I CAN make it, I will! (I would be really sad to miss meeting you all!)
