So many “first post” posters are the dreaded “T” word. Just stirring the pot for fun and wasting other’s time. In some other forums I belong to, there is a policy that a member must post 10 (or whatever number) replies before starting a new post. This cuts down the chatter and makes it easy to determine (if those 10 posts were nonsense) if the poster really wants to be a serious part of the community or not.
Great idea @snarlatron . And so many first time users post in the wrong forum, especially with “chance” posts on the college admissions page. I am going to tag a moderator, maybe this can be pinned? @skieurope
@lindagaf No reason to pin. The current policy “is what it is” and any changes are well above my pay grade.
