CC: No class equivalent/no class articulated

Hello!

I’m currently attending a CA community college and am in my second semester. I will be applying for transfer next semester and had a few questions on what happens when the college I want to apply to does no have an equivalent major prep class at my CC

  1. Do I need to say this in the “additional comments” section of the UC app? In other words, do I need to put something like, “I didn’t take this class because it wasn’t provided at my CC”?

  2. Since some class equivalents are not provided at my college nor any of the local community colleges, will it affect my admission chances?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

You don’t need to say anything about this. The place you apply to will look at your transcript and figure out what is and isn’t equivalent.
