Whoop whoop!

Yippee!!! Hooray!

Yes!! It’s about time:)

Yay, finally!

awesome! any possibility of an iPad version being completed soon?

Thank you! I installed it today and really like it!

I just loaded the app. Very quick to load. I did a quick run through and it looks awesome! Great job team!

Great, now I can get thoroughly discouraged about my college prospects ON THE GO!! XD

Ooh cool, I’ll have to go get it. CC should put a notice on the mobile site about this!

Dissenting vote. I hate the app. Much faster and easier to browse the site using Safari on the iPhone. What is the point of the app if it is slower and more difficult to use?

I uninstalled it.

@Iron Maiden Well I am sorry to hear that your experience drove you to uninstall the app. With that, could you give us an idea of what you were experiencing that was slow? Were you just browsing through topics, performing searches, etc…? Were you on cell or WIFI at the time? Many of our users have reported that the app is quite speedy for them so if you can give us some details then we might be able to pinpoint something on our end to improve.

Thank you

Tried both 3G and WiFi. Safari just loaded much faster for me when browsing threads and looking at posts. I did not try a search. I also did not see a way to show threads to which I had posted.

I just found Safari faster.

@Iron Maiden Thank you for the info. Regarding speed of the Safari aspect as compared to the native application it is not really an apples to apples comparison. Without going into too much detail and boring you to death it comes down to this. The mobile web pages you see via Safari are generally lighter weight while the native app gives a lot more capability. The more you use the native app the faster it gets if you visit the same areas often. Also, you can subscribe to topics and forums from the native app and view any threads or topics that you have posted to. It sounds like you may not have found the option to view threads and topics that you posted to, and honestly, it is pretty hidden so I can’t blame you for not seeing it. While in the app once you have logged in if you navigate to the “More” tab and then to “Profile” you should see 3 tabs, General, My Topics, and My Posts. Here is where you can view any threads or topics you have posted to.

@AxelNofz Sorry for the late reply, I missed your post. Not quite yet. You can load the current version on the iPad, but it will just be a blown up view of what you see in the smartphone version.

Palm Please…Web OS is not dead!

Worked great until a couple of days ago, but no longer responds. When I access the app all I get is gray screen with the iPhone status bar at the top. Reported to CC via the app store, no response yet.

Too bad, because in most respects I prefer the app to using Safari.

I love it

@OneToughMommy Hi there, we have not made any updates or changes on our end and a couple of us have double checked our iPhone clients to ensure that the app is working properly. So far no problems here. With that, could you try to power off and power on your phone? I am wondering if the client itself has gotten into a weird state for some reason and essentially needs a “reset”. If that does not help please feel free to PM me or just post here again and I will see what I can do. Thank you!

I love the app. I would like one more feature though: a favorite forum list. That way I could easily access the forums I frequent without having to go through ALL the forums.
