CC on Your iPhone: Yes, There's an App for That!

@NotAClue Hi there, that capability already exists and this is how you use it (iPhone). While in the Forum tab navigate to your favorite forum. Once you are in the forum with its list of topics click on the button in the very top right hand corner of the screen. You should get a list of options like Refresh, New Topic, Subscribe, Mark as Read. Click on Subscribe. Now to view the forum you just added to your favorites go to the More tab and click on the Favorites listing at the top of the page. You will now see the topics and forums you have subscribed to. I hope this is what you are looking for. Also, are you on iPhone or Android because the instructions are a little different for Android from what I just gave.

Sonic - Ha ha - I forgot tech rule 1.1: turn it off!

Working fine now - thanks!

@OneToughMommy You know, I actually cringe every time I give someone a “reset” as a fix, but in my experience with native mobile apps it seems to be very effective. I am glad that worked out for you.

Just for my edification, what’s a “”

Sorry. What’s a “native” app?

Sonic thank you so much! It worked perfectly. I am using an iPhone. Now I don’t have to go scrolling through all the forums anymore. I think it should be a tab under ‘latest’ though. Next to ‘Participated’ would be perfect. But I’m so happy just to not scroll through that list anymore.

@OneToughMommy Native just means that it runs as an application on your smartphone as compared to being a web site that runs from a web browser. Also, native apps can be downloaded from the app store so, generally speaking, all of the apps you download from the app store are native apps. There is actually a big difference between native apps and browser based apps, but that would take a good deal more detail and I am not sure that is the info you are looking for. Let me know if you want a full explanation.

First of all, thank you for the app.

I have a question: When I search a term by post, let’s say “internship”, I get a list of results. But when I click on one of the results, I will be brought to the top of the thread and not to that specific post. Is there any way to get around this?
