I am currently a student at CSUSB, but I take classes at my local community college more (to save money). Can I use my local community college to transfer to another school or would I have to say I’m at CSUSB? Or does it not matter which school I use? I am currently under the impression that transferring from a community college is easier than transferring from a four-year.
When you transfer, it is important to submit transcripts from all of the colleges that you have attended. The transfer (in) institution will evaluate those transcripts and decide which courses they will count toward a 4-year degree.
Right, but do you have less of a chance of being admitted as a transfer student when you are attending a four-year compared to a community college?
Also, to transfer out would I still be able to participate in programs such as TAG (Transfer Agreement Guaranteed) and others even though I have classes from a 4-year?
