hahaha... actually, i do believe in the year 2016 (that's when my little sister graduates :)) they'll finally realize that the sat is a totally unfair way of judging how "smart" or "qualified" a person is for any particular college and devise some new method to torture high schoolers...

Well, sadly the wealthy people who can actually pay tutors for SAT say it's a fair test. And the college board now requires to take a test in reading, math writing, us history, european history, biology, chemistry, and physics.

Being that I am a wealthy person who pays tutors for SAT prep, I can disprove this erroneous comment. I personally think the SAT is complete BS, as does my family and many people I know personally. There are many way to test ability. Some people such as myself arent natural standardized test takers.

they aren't gonna get rid of the SAT so soon, they've been giving the test for how many decades? how many people have **** about the SAT being unfair before 2016? yea they are never gonna get rid of a college admissions test, they might replace the SAT but it will still be a test just as unfair as the SAT...

i hope they just get rid of the whole test. why can't we get into college without tests.
if we could just meet a dean or something and get accepted if we give him/her a good impression.

The SAT 1 tests mostly your verbal, and majors like Physics and Engineering wouldnt require your english to be excellent... and as for the Math section in the SAT1, it is sooooo easy....

it's easy bec. (according to CB) it is to test your basic Math skills only and is not intended to test you on hard/college level math.
which is why they have SAT II physics tests.

All of you people that want to get rid of the SAT, what is your alternative? How else do you tell the difference between a 4.0 at some terrible NYC school or a 4.0 at Exeter? If you can come up with a better way, please alert the collegeboard now, but if not, dont complain about the SAT.
