Will all of the links to the discussion forums return? or is this a permanent change?
From the home page of College Discussion I am having to use the “Top Forums” to get into the individual forums and I can’t do that unless I log in. Is this intentional? I miss the links to individual college pages. The only way I can get there right now is using search.
Wow I hope this is an omen for things to come… I wish for all of the thread links to return and 10 minutes later they are there!!!

Oh, I guess you have to log in to see all of the forum links. So you have to register just to view the pages?

It’s great to have this message board back up on its feet again. I only discovered this site back in November and it’s amazing how much I’ve come to depend on all the information that I get from it.

hi, I seem to be having a problem where 95% of the time CC’s server is too busy for me to do anything. Is anyone else having this problem to? Is it because I have 56k or what?

It’s because so many students are receiving their early decision notifications these days. They’re all trying to get onto this site at once to post results and “chat.” I have high speed access and it’s no better than your 56K!
We’ve had some server issues over the last couple of days, which coincided with ED traffic - it wasn’t your connection. We seem to have cleared them up for the moment, and we’ll try to do our new server switch over the weekend during a period of low traffic.
