CC Soon To Transfer - Help!

So here's the low-down,

I did not do so great in highschool, actually .. terrible, almost at the bottom of my class and now that i've matured I of course wish I didn't screw around so much. I am currently about to end my second semester at A local community college. My first semester I got a 3.5 and got onto the presidential honors list and this semester I am probably going to do a little lower than that, definitely not making the honors list due to boring classes and just lack of interest etc. These last 2 semester I am shooting to get 3.5+ both .. If it matters I am undecided and in the " Liberal Arts " program. I also did not take my sat's in highschool. When I transfer next year & if I do do as good as I am striving to in my last 2 semesters I have left to complete my 2 years at CC, How are my chances getting into these schools as a transfer, and has anyone been in my kind of situation? And have you had any luck?

University of Miami
Florida State
West Virginia University

buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuump

I’d say you have a good chance at any of those schools. UMiami might be a slight reach. You should take your SAT though

UM actually does not require HS transcripts for transfers!

can confirm no HS transcripts or SAT’s required for Miami

Keignat, why do you say to take your SAT’s? If you do well in College, isn’t that enough? Just wondering, as my brother is in the same boat. He barely graduated high school, but now has a 3.9 in CC, President’s list 3 times, and a member of Phi Theta Kappa. Hasn’t taken his SAT’s and is now thinking of a 4 year school.

A lot of schools don’t require it (especially for transfer) but it depends on how many college courses you’ve taken (i.e sophomore or junior status upon transferring, they consider HS stats more for sophomores) and if you do well it’s a nice addition to your application.
