CC to NYU

I had a 3.3 average in HS. Volunteered at a nursing home, worked two jobs, captain of volleyball team for three years, played club volleyball for four years, part of operation smile and habitat for humanity. got an 1880 on the SAT.

Im currently at a CC and am most likely going to get a 3.8+ for my year here.

What are my chances of getting into NYU?

please sos

You need to finish your cc and if you still have a 3.8 Gpa, start to thinking about Nyu

The thing is I’m at a CC but it’s a program with Binghamton University so I would have a guarantee transfer to BU but I hate it here. I was thinking of transferring to a CC back where I live and then apply to NYU for fall 15. Do you think I should transfer back home and take the risk and be happier or stay here, kinda miserable, and not lose my guarantee transfer to a good school?

The thing is that you have to know why you are miserable there, is it home sick? If so, get over with it, you have to learn how to cope with live without home. Transfer is a double edged sward, you may or may not like the new environment. But that is your judgement.
