CC to SEAS?

OKAY SOOOO I have a little bit of a problem.

About a week ago, I decided that I wanted to apply to Fu, but when I looked online it said that I needed a math teacher's letter of rec, while I only asked my English and AP Chemistry teachers. I was pretty disappointed, because I have shifted a little towards engineering as I've written more and more college essays (dang, those things are insightful ahha).

Anyway, I reluctantly sent in my application as a CC applicant, but I've still been regretting it. So basically, I was wondering if anyone knew whether Columbia would accept a Chemistry teacher rec (I mean... it's still heavily math-based, right? And most engineering schools recommend Math II + Chemistry subject test, both of which I sent to Columbia) or allow me to send in a math teacher rec a little late. Would they allow me to switch to SEAS, or am I screwed? ...I already even have that answer to their portion of the application specifically for Fu applicants.

Thanks!

^i sent in two science recs and I'm at the school. i personally think eng and chem is good enough, tell them you want to switch schools and ask them if you can submit the seas essay late.

also is this just your short term fickleness, or do actually want to study engineering for 4 years - it is not for slackers.

^LOL naw i do want to, but columbia is the only school i'd study it at 'cause it's the only school i feel that combines engineering with a rounded education well... and i want to be able to think OUTSIDE of just engineering haha.

does the office open on the 5th? i can't reach them :( thanks for your help btw!!
