Hi I am a community college student and I wanted to know if anyone had insight on my chances as a Computer Science L&S transfer to Berkeley.

I have a 4.00 and plan on maintaining it at all costs!

Decent Extra curricular activities
-part-time job at a independent drug store
-part-time job with a graphics and media company developing/designing a new webpage and editing media files
-3-year involvement with the Monterey Jazz Festivals All-Star Band touring Japan, Canada, and the Midwest.
-CCC Honor society Club
-Developed a couple google chrome extensions/java applet games
---I could list more but those are the best ones

My personal statements should be pretty strong. I'm going to write about my touring experiences playing jazz around the world and how challenges in language and culture forced me to grow as a jazz musician. I went from being the timid young player to the most confident improviser in the band organizing local jam sessions tutoring other members of the band on jazz theory.
I will also write about how my interest in computer science was so unexpected yet powerful once it took ahold. I will mostly include my experiences programming in groups and working on a website for a graphics design/marketing company.

Sorry this is getting long....

Anyway, my concern is rooted in the fact that by the time applications are due, I will have only completed one major pre-requisite: Calculus I.

my CC doesn't offer any of the compsci 61 series and therefore only the 4 math prerequisites are offered at my CC. I plan on taking CalcII in the spring hopefully alongside Linear Algebra but there is a possibly that Linear Algebra won't be offered in the Spring leaving me with only 2 of the 4 possible pre-reqs that my CC offers.

Will Berkeley see this and reject me without a second thought? Or is all hope NOT lost?

Thanks!
