hey guys! I received my rejection letter a couple days ago from Marshall. Does anyone think I should appeal? I know my app isn’t as competitive as others but I really want to attend USC this fall. I’m a CC transfer with 60+ credits and a 3.55 GPA.
You can appeal, but there’s no formal process and the consensus seems to be that transfer appeals are not successful. It doesn’t hurt to try, though. They’ll either reject or approve it so you don’t really have anything to lose. Did you apply to any other schools?
If you’re set on Marshall, you’re SOL. If you want a USC degree, apply as ECON.

Yeah I did. Got into GWU, still deciding whether or not I want to go. I think I will appeal and see what happens, worst case I’ll just attend GWU.
