If i were to attend community college, would i still need to take the sat in high school? i’m planning to transfer to a uc, hopefully.
If you have 60+ transfer units at the cc, you won’t need anything from high school.
^ Dont listen to him!!!
Im in the same position. Take your SAT. It limits you if you don’t from top schools.
I would take the SAT just for the experience. If you do well and decide to apply for a CSU/UC, then you will have it available plus you might want to keep your options open for private or OOS schools.
The vast majority of community colleges are open enrollment, which means that they accept anyone who applies, as long as he/she has a high school diploma or GED. They generally don’t require standardized test scores.
However, if you’re interested in certain more selective programs like nursing or planning to transfer to a four-year university, you may end up needing SAT or ACT scores.
