So I know that when you transfer from a CC to a UC they wipe your grades clean. Do they do the same when you transfer from a CC to a State school?

Also, Is it harder to transfer from a UC to UC?
or from a State school to a UC?

I’m not familiar with “wiping the grades clean” can anyone verify that this is at all true - I am under the impression that your grades transfer with you.

I could be mistaken, it might only apply to graduate school? do they use your cc grades?

graduate and professional schools use your grades from anywhere.

do you know anything about UCs wiping your grades? I saw it on another post on here… I’ll see if I can find it

At UC, you’ll only have a UC GPA, but that won’t matter for schools beyond undergraduate.

only at UCs? not State Schools?

Like CSUs? I don’t know, call them up or something. If I had to guess, your GPA would also be reset.

Say you went to some UC and got a 3.0, then went to CC and got a 4.0…avg to 3.5 right? if you transfer to UC again you start with 3.0 not 3.5

CC GPA are completely different from UC GPAs. You will start all over again. If you came from a UC say UCR and transfered to CAL your UCR GPA will remain

so its harder to transfer from a uc to a uc, than it is to transfer from a csu to a uc?

No it probably is much easier to transfer from a UC to UC than a CSU and it more common to.
